Quick Start with NOCMonkey system.
NOC Monkey is a dedicate server for remote server recovery. NOCMonkey helps you:
- Recover failed servers remotely.
- Install new servers' OS from images (Linux/FreeBSD, for Windows backup/recovery only).
- Recover root password for Linux and FreeBsd.
- Recover failed servers by yourself using convenient web-based interface.
How to use NOCMonkey server.

Locate NOCMonkey server on your LAN (How install NOCMonkey serer). ( As a result you will have dedicate linux server for recovering).

Add your dedicate server to NOCMonkey - configure it and add to the list of servers. If your NOCMonkey server is located not at the same subnet as the NOCMonkey server, you need add this subnet via web-interface and configure dhcrelay (IPhelper).

Both administrator and user are able to recover the system grab (more). In order to do it, boot the server in the netboot mode ovwer web intreface and can check the disks. OR: connect to the server user> ssh root@remote_server_ip or edit data manually using HDD connected to the system
root# /nocmonkey/scripts/mount_sysimage.pl.

Install new OS using NOCMonkey (more). Remember, OS image you should before (more) start of installation process!
